Who is BlueChip Recruiting Service?

In 1995, BlueChip Recruiting Service (BRS) was founded by Kevin Kehoe, a former high school and college athlete.  Dealing exclusively with boys and girls basketball, BRS set out to assist these student athletes in pursuit of an academic and athletic college experience. BRS offers student athletes maximum exposure to the colleges and universities of choice, potentially leading to scholarships and grant money.  BRS has the coaching contacts to place student athletes at the collegiate level in all divisions: Division I, II, III, NAIA or Junior College.

As a full time profession for Mr. Kehoe, BRS works diligently to place the student athlete in the best possible college or university.  BRS boasts a 100% placement rate.

The Recruiting Process

BRS consistently scouts the regional boys and girls basketball games to view up-and-coming, high-quality prospects for its recruiting business.  Only a very small percentage of the student athletes seen on the basketball court are chosen by BRS for further evaluation.

Once a student athlete is contacted by BRS, an appointment is set up with the student athlete and his family to discuss the practical matters of attending college:  Geographic location, academic suitability, athletic program and available scholarships and college atmosphere, etc.

The student athlete supplies BRS with his information, which is cross-referenced with the BRS database to select schools that match the criteria.  A customized player profile is created by BRS for the student athlete.  This profile highlights the player’s athletic and academic statistics, skills and attributes and includes a photo of the player in action.

An individualized mailing is sent to the colleges and universities created by the BRS database match.  Typically, the colleges will contact the student athlete with information on their athletic and academic programs.  If interested in the student athlete, the college will request more information on the student athlete.

BRS continues to work with the student athlete, consulting as needed until a final college selection has been made by the student athlete.
